Past and Present
Construction of Kursk Brewery and malt house began in 1969. In 1973, both units were combined into a single production complex. Final launch of Kursk Brewery «Seim» happened three years later. The capacity of the brewery was estimated as 7.2 mln dal of beer per year. In 1978, Belgorod brewery (960 thousand dal per year) was incorporated into «Seim».
In 1992, «Seim» was reorganized into OAO Kursk Brewery. In the same year, it joined SUN Brewing group. Kursk Brewery (since May 2003 - Kursk affiliate of OAO United Breweries) is a member of SUN InBev since April 1999.
Investments brought rapid growth and vast modernisation to the company. Production volumes increased substantially. The product mix was broadened, and stable high quality of products achieved.
In 1990s, beer brands produced at Kursk Brewery received numerous medals at professional contests. In 2002, Kursk Brewery was awarded a diploma of Kursk regional government for high quality, wide range of brands and development of new beers.
