History and Nowadays
Novocheboksarsk Brewery was built in 2001. It became one of the first breweries in Russia with 100% modern imported equipment. The brewing equipment was supplied by the leading world manufactures to produce the beer of the premium and super-premium brands.
The brewery is situated in Chuvashia, a region with age long brewing traditions. Its opening ceremony on June 23, 2001 had an all-russian status and was attended by the Premier of the Russian Government.
Since August 1, 2003, Novocheboksarsk Brewery has became a part of SUN InBev (since March 2004 as the Novocheboksarsk affiliate of JSC “SUN InBev”) what became for the enterprise the key moment in realizing of its technologic potential. Since then a number of innovation projects has been implemented that enabled to raise the current manufacturing capacities, to launch the production of licensed brands, to improve substantially the technology of the production in accordance with the high quality standards of the company “InBev”. The best worldwide programs in the sphere of management, technical maintenance, the work with personnel, logistics have been already launched or are in the process of being launched.
Today the brewery produces about 2/3 of beer that is produced in Chuvashia. More than 90% of the production is sold beyond the region. The brewery is one of the most competitive enterprises of the region and according to the results of 2004 and 2005 was twice acknowledged the winner of the competition “The organization of the high social effectiveness” that is held by the cabinet of ministers of Republic of Chuvashia. The diploma of the President of the Republic of Chuvashia for “active implementation of innovations, attracting the investments among food enterprises” was awarded to the brewery. Throughout many years the status of the diligent tax-payer of the city Novocheboksarsk is assigned to the enterprise.
The brewery produces popular international beer brands “Stella Artois”, “Beck’s”, and “Staropramen”, national brands “Sibirskaya Korona”, Klinskoye.
