SUN InBev Statement

Moscow, 23 September 2009 - Russian Information Agency “Rusbusinessnews” published an article "Anheuser-Busch InBev" got under scrutiny of Ural law enforcement officials" containing incorrect and inadequate information about SUN InBev.

SUN InBev informs that there were no recently any tax checks at Yekaterinburg Representative Office of SUN InBev as the company fully observes tax legislation. The other statement about transferring of tax payments from Yekaterinburg to Sverdlovsk is also incorrect as Yekaterinburg Representative Office is being registered in local Tax Inspection and therefore there is no violation of the procedure of tax payments.

SUN InBev is not aware of the objectives the authors of this article were trying to achieve but regrets that “Rusbusinessnews” which is being positioned as Russian information agency admits the publication of such controversial facts before due verification of all details.
